The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Dharmsinh Desai University (DDU), Nadiad,
invites applications from highly motivated, talented, and research-oriented candidates for the position of
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a prestigious ISRO–NASA Joint Research Project being undertaken by the faculty members
of the department.
The project focuses on the analysis of L-band and S-band NISAR satellite observations, image processing, remote sensing, oceanography, and the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques for the automatic detection, characterization, and monitoring of Ocean Internal Waves (OIWs) in the Indian Ocean.

Research Project
“Automatic Detection and Characterization of Ocean Internal Waves (OIWs)
Using L- and S-Band NISAR Observations for the Indian Ocean”The project focuses on the analysis of L-band and S-band NISAR satellite observations, image processing, remote sensing, oceanography, and the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques for the automatic detection, characterization, and monitoring of Ocean Internal Waves (OIWs) in the Indian Ocean.
Research Opportunities
